Just a reminder to us what we live
What we are is what is important
What we believe in is who we are
Noone can make our choices

We resolve to make our decisions
Our state of happiness depends on no other
We assert ourselves with communication
And affirm who we are with confidence

No one can determine our life existence
Obligations can bind us or help us grow
We can pledge our loyalties with words
But we must back them up with character and worth

We teach with our actions
We affect with our words
So sometimes we move on
We make hard choices

And we confront our fears
Then we walk on
Head held high, seeing clearly
That it is our life, to choose
