This poem is for a very special friend, who knows who he is.
It says so much about his character and his soul. Thank-you, for all your help and your friendship.

For In this World

The light hovers over his soul
A shaft of rays unearth his thoughts
He dreams of what is not yet his
For in the world we are but alone

The courage in his heart begets mine soul
The strength he uses to pursue his wishes
He lights his way with conviction
For in the world we are but alone

The tenderness he generates in visions
The patience of what is not yet here
The existent of nothingness mixed with hope
For in the world we are but alone

The earth stands us on two different axles
The cliffs of the ever after
The oceans of the torment within
For in the world we are but alone

The world of fantasy and illusions
The wind ushers our dreams together yet apart
The zephyr mingles the towers of time
For in the world we are but alone

The willowy frail undetermined line of just
We privilege those we plunge into our worlds
And we exist as though we are unhurt
For in the world we are but alone

But with quarry on our minds
We persist with our dreams
For together we stand but aside
For in the world we are but alone
